Southeastern Utah Hotels

Within a day's drive from the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park, visitors can embark on a road trip to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, located on the state line between Utah and the northeastern corner of Arizona. While in the area, be sure to visit the Four Corners Monument, at the juncture of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona. Stay overnight in nearby Blanding, UT, where you'll find mostly limited service hotels and motel-style accommodations.

Further up the eastern edge of Utah, visitors may want to stop off in Monticello, a small village with easy access to Canyonlands National Park. In Monticello, locally owned motels are common, as well as a small handful of nationally recognized brand name accommodations.

The lion's share of the Grand Circle hotels located in southeastern Utah are in Moab, UT. Moab is the portal to Arches National Park, a picturesque slick-rock playground for hiking, 4x4 and mountain-bike enthusiasts. If you plan a trip to Moab from the North Rim, give yourself a couple days and nights to do the drive, and be sure not to rush through the other national parks and monuments along the way. Stay in any of these southeastern Utah hotels over a series of nights, and experience some of the most varied and fascinating landscapes in the US.
